Nagrywanie CD-R - błąd

Witam,

Wczoraj kupiłem TEACa CD-W552E, jako że miałem już dość męki z 6x TEAC SCSI,
a dodatkowo driver do Tekrama wyczyniał bardzo dziwne harce, w porywach do
zamrażania systemu...

Spróbowałem szczęścia nagrywając (testowo) bez zabawy w ide-scsi.

cdrecord dev=ATAPI:0,1,0 -dummy -v -dao -eject /mnt/big/tmp/rescue.iso

Pokazało, że max. prędkość to 48x - nie wiem, może to z powodu płytek
(Verbatim AZO).

Potem:

(chwila...)
BUM - error.

Okazało się, że powyżej 12x nie chce nagrywać. Potem okazało się, że
zapomniałem ustawić dma dla /dev/hdd. No i pomogło... ale z trochę dziwnym
efektem:

Co to jest? Czy to przypadkiem nie jakiś śmieć wynikający z niepełnej
zgodności ATAPI-SCSI ze specyfikacją? Nie chcę niepotrzebnie tracić
płytki... ale może to nie jest błąd i płytka normalnie by się nagrała?

Kernel Cięciwy 2.4.20-6, cdrtools-2.01a15-1.
