HDIO_SET_DMA failed: Operation not permitted

Witam.

Komunikat jak w temacie pojawia mi się, gdy chcę włączyć tryb DMA
hdparm-em. Dzieje się to na jądrach z serii 2.6, a konkretnie próbowałem
na jądrze 2.6.5-1 z ftp-a oraz 2.6.6-0.13 z CVS-a. Na jądrze 2.4.26-0.4
wziętego także z CVS-a wszystko działa w porządku. Oczywiście aby to
zadziałało musiałem dołądować moduł piix (przy generowaniu initrd nie
został automatycznie włączony).
Sprzęt to HP ProLiant ML110.
