SpamAssassin i problemy z spamd

posiadam exim'a, do tego doinstalowanego mam spamassassina i poprzez 
exiscana podczepionego clamava, całość działa pięknie.. do czasu.
Mój problem polega na tym, że bez wyraźnych śladów w logach nawet w 
trybie "gadatliwym" spamassassin zdycha co objawia się nie działaniem
smtp i dużym loadem serwera. Ktoś może spotkał się z tym problemem i 
zarazem rozwiązaniem jego??
