Problem z pwdutils

Coś ostatnio mam problemy ze zmianą haseł, passwd się wykonuje i kończy
działanie nie pytajc się o nic. Z roota jest identycznie, nawet jak
podam mu dla jakiego użytkownika.

[aflinta w router aflinta]$ passwd
[aflinta w router aflinta]$ rpm -q pwdutils
pwdutils-2.6.98-1

Nowsza wersja z ac-ready 3.0.2-1 też działa (nie działa) tak samo.
