Daj przed wejściem do chroot'a i instalacją jajka:
mount -t proc none /mnt/sda1/proc
mount -t sysfs none /mnt/sda1/sys
mount -o bind /dev /mnt/sda1/dev

może dlatego nie widzi /dev/sda2.
