CVS not working

The password is still "cvs" right?  I get the following error when I try to cvs login

bash-2.03$ cvs -d :pserver:cvs at anoncvs.pld.org.pl:/cvsroot login
(Logging in to cvs at anoncvs.pld.org.pl)
CVS password:
cvs [login aborted]: connect to anoncvs.pld.org.pl:2401 failed: Connection refused

And this error when I stripped off the :pserver: and tried a regular ssh get:

bash-2.03$ cvs -d cvs at anoncvs.pld.org.pl:/cvsroot get solid-pop3d
Received disconnect from 156.17.220.1: Sorry, you are not allowed to connect.
cvs [checkout aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)

Anyone know how I can get access to the latest 0.16 source?
