1) Got a SRPM from PLD site. Rebuilt. The same bug.
2) Commented #define i18n (in Imakefile). Rebuilt. No bug!!!

So the problem is, as it happens frequently, in some misinterpretation of locale -- probably locale with decimal comma (as opposed to decimal point)....
