but mostly they already require logrotate (i'm speaking of packages providing 
logrotate config). not that i always want logrotate (f.e inside vserver).

otherwise on my average system i have installed:
# rpm -qf /etc/monit/*
apache1-1.3.37-1
apache-base-2.2.3-1
mysql-5.0.24-2
