This is neither a game of mutual blackmail nor a cold war.

In the case you linked to there was a threat, but the person in
question is still on the lists and has RW. And although some people
might not have appreciated how things went down in the past, that
episode is currently past. Do you have a current issue with them being
on the lists or having RW access? If not there is no need to drag them
into this.

I believe I left a couple questions hanging out there about how you
propose handling the issues raised. They still stand.
