kłopoty po zmianie grafiki

Pamiętam, że na radeonie pomogło przekompilowanie xawtv z "configure 
--disable-glx" (albo jakoś tak - "configure --help" podpowie).
Popróbuj też opcji startowych: #xawtv -nogl
