VMware - problem z kompilacją modułu "vmmon"

Niestety nic to nie dało. Nadal VMware pluje się komunikatem:
None of the pre-built vmmon modules for VMware Server is suitable for your

Próbowałem różnych wariantów, z numerem kernela i bez, nic to nie daje.
Nadal twierdzi że kernel headers nie jest spójny wersją z zainstalowanym
kernelem :/

Jeszcze raz proszę o pomoc.

Tak się zastanawiam, znalazłem speca na CVS ale nigdy nie próbowałem
budować paczki na podstawie speca, czy może mi ktoś polecić jakiś link do
tekstu opisującego dla laika, jak do tego zabrać się?
Zastanawiam się jeszcze nad wersją .rpm VMware ze strony producenta ale
nie wiem czy to nie narobi mi bałaganu w systemie?
Co sugerujecie?
