Just removed kde4 and installed kde5 on my side it's absolutely crap for me. metapackage-kde5 is not fulfilled with minimal needed pkgs - you end up with black screen with nice cursor after logon without any error in logs! Desktop is so laggy ... even with compositioning disabled. Sure it could, because of nouveau driver and notebook has got few years, but it was working quiet well with kde4 (compositioning disabled). Beside nouveau works till 5.13.0 and after update to 5.16.10 have black screen at moment of sddm loading. ( [ 12.640] (II) NOUVEAU(0): NVEnterVT is called.
