can't write to socket ?!?

hello dear list,

I am trying to configure solidpop3d.
When I try to get the mail for user "helene" I have this message in syslog :

Authenticatien over pam works fine. User "helene" is stored in a ldap-db
which seems to be authenticated correctely.
But what means "can't write to socket" ?
Please could someone help me out ?

Furthermore I am not very familiar to spop3d.conf
I've just stupidly copied an example. This looks like this :

   LogPriority    daemon.info
   AllowRootLogin no
   #MailDropName   Maildir
   MailDropType   Maildir
   #UserBullFile   .spop3d-blurp /* It's just an example */
   ReadExpire     0
   UnreadExpire   2w
