Did you ever get it working? I just made a new checkout with:

 cvs -d :pserver:cvs at anoncvs.pld.org.pl:/cvsroot login

(No password. Just hit [ENTER] when it asks)

cvs -d :pserver:cvs at anoncvs.pld.org.pl:/cvsroot co solid-pop3d

Worked like it's supposed to.

The web site is out of date. Who maintains it?
